Isel Asquith-Vallance

Pioneer of NeuroConscious Realism

I am a neurodivergent artist, writer, mystic, and witness of the unseen.

My work emerges from a deep inner landscape - where sensation, soul, memory, and silence converge.

I no longer only paint and draw the external world, but also the world that lives behind the eyes, beneath the skin, and in the subtle language of the nervous system and its relationship with our external world.

I call this new visual and written language NeuroConscious Realism.

It is realism of an unflinching devotion to inner truth: how grief shimmers in the body, how light returns to the spirit through stillness, how the autistic mind sees with startling clarity what the ordinary gaze cannot hold.

Its a representation of going deeper from the details of the external world into the emotional, conscious and internal world.

Each painting begins with silence. I close my eyes and enter what I can only call the sacred nervous system—where image, emotion, and intuition braid into form. I listen for what wants to be felt. I let colour speak when words would fail.

This work belongs to the threshold—between science and spirit, body and soul, realism and revelation. It is informed by my study of neuroscience, shaped by my neurodivergence, and rooted in the contemplative path that has carried me through collapse, chronic illness, and spiritual awakening.

My paintings are not decoration. They are invitations.

They are soul-mirrors for those who live attuned to mystery, to grief, to inner presence.

They are made for those who see with their eyes closed.

I offer original works, sacred commissions, and quiet collections for those who long to bring depth, resonance, and soul into their spaces.
